Terms of Use

These terms cover the Corneo app and the website at corneo.app, both made by Selana Technologies LLC (“Corneo”, “we”, “us”). By using either you agree to them. If you do not, do not use Corneo.
What Corneo is
Corneo is a tool for organising a skincare routine. It records the products you own, applies a fixed set of layering and pacing rules to them, suggests products for steps you are missing, and helps you keep track of what you used and when.
What Corneo is not
Corneo is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Nothing in the app is a substitute for a dermatologist, a pharmacist or your own doctor. The rules the app applies are general guidance about how common skincare ingredients are usually combined and paced. They do not know your medical history, your allergies, your medications or your skin.
If a product stings, burns, causes a rash or otherwise does not agree with you, stop using it and talk to a professional. Do not rely on the app to tell you when something is wrong. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, under the care of a dermatologist, or using prescription skincare, follow your professional’s instructions over anything the app says.
The app never claims that a product caused a change in your skin. Anything it shows about your skin over time is a record of what you logged, not a conclusion.
Your account
You can use Corneo anonymously or with an email address. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in details to yourself.
You must be at least 16 to use Corneo. If you are under 16, do not use it. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we will close it.
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app, and everything in it is removed. See the Privacy Policy and Delete your account.
Acceptable use
Do not use Corneo to break the law, to interfere with the service or other people’s use of it, to probe or overload our systems, to scrape the catalog, or to submit content you do not have the right to submit. We may suspend or close an account that does any of this.
Product suggestions and retailer links
Products suggested by the app come from a short catalog we curate by hand. We do not manufacture, sell or ship any of them, and we make no promise about their availability, price, safety or suitability for you. Read the label. Patch test.
Some retailer links are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the retailer may pay us a small commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate arrangements never affect which products the app suggests or the order it suggests them in. Prices shown in the app are estimates or values you entered, and the retailer’s price at checkout is the one that applies.
Testing releases
While Corneo is distributed through TestFlight it is pre-release software. It may change, break, lose data or stop working without notice. Do not rely on it as the only record of anything you care about.
Our content
The app, the website, the catalog, the rules and the writing in them belong to Selana Technologies LLC or its licensors. You may use them through the app for your own personal, non-commercial routine. You may not copy, resell or redistribute them.
No warranty
Corneo is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Selana Technologies LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of Corneo, and our total liability for any claim relating to Corneo is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim, which for a free app is nothing. Some places do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as the law permits.
Ending things
You can stop using Corneo at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or end access to Corneo for anyone who breaks these terms, and we may discontinue the service with reasonable notice.
Changes to these terms
These terms took effect on 23 September 2026. If we change them in a way that matters, the app will say so and the date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use Corneo after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
Any dispute about Corneo or these terms will be decided by the state or federal courts in Orange County, California, and you and we both agree to bring it there and nowhere else. These terms do not require arbitration. If the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your own courts or under your own law, nothing here takes that away.
